The management of Cerámica Malpesa, S.A. defines its Environmental Policy by expressing its firm commitment to:

• Environmental protection.
• Compliance with current legislation and other applicable requirements assumed by the organization.
• Continuous improvement of the organization’s environmental performance.

To meet the above commitments, Cerámica Malpesa, S.A. will integrate environmental criteria into its various business processes, establishing the following management principles:

• Document, implement, and maintain an up-to-date Environmental Management System that facilitates the setting of environmental objectives, verifies compliance through the development of audits, enables the adoption of measures for continuous improvement, evaluates environmental performance and progress, and communicates the information to top management.
• Communicate this Environmental Policy to all members of the organization and make it publicly available.
• Optimize the use of resources to reduce the environmental footprint, minimizing consumption, waste generation, and pollutant emissions.
• Promote environmental awareness among the organization’s staff and encourage their participation in achieving environmental objectives.
• Identify and control the environmental aspects of activities, products, and services, adopting appropriate corrective measures when necessary, both in normal situations and in potential emergency situations.
• Participate in initiatives aimed at the preservation of the environment and biodiversity, the sustainable use of energy resources, and improving the response to climate change, and share knowledge that may be useful in achieving these goals.
